Types of PLASMIX.
The types of Plasmix produced by Corepla’s Sorting Centres can be attributed to the following streams:
- PLASMIX product code 27213 (70%-80% of the total): mix of plastic packaging after sorting of materials sent for recycling, with an approximate size of 100 mm-300 mm;
- PLASMIX FINE product code 27200 (20%-30% of the total): mix of plastic packaging after screening, with an approximate size of less than 100 mm.
In some cases, Plasmix is available divided into two distinct streams: one with a predominant three-dimensional matrix and one with a predominant two-dimensional matrix.
Based on a general characteristics, as each individual Plasmix stream has different chemical/physical properties depending on the production plant, the two streams can be included in the following classes:
- PLASMIX class 1.2.1
- PLASMIX FINE class 2.3.1
